Synopsis
An anthology film composed of three vignettes exploring the themes of sex and mortality, Little Deaths triangulates disturbing scenarios featuring dissatisfied couples in search of the perverse means to quench their, more or less, transgressive desires. Each episode (House and Home, Mutant Tool and Bitch) is thematically linked but defined by its own separate narrative and filmmaking vision. Little Deaths offers, in succinct punctuations, almost instant gratification for the contemporary horror fan. Saturated in bodily fluids, sexual tension, demented humour and extreme moments of visceral self-discovery, this is an insight into the best contemporary British directors working within the genre and in one instance gives a whole new meaning to ending up in the dog house.
