Synopsis
A retired porn actor in dire financial straits accepts one last job in order to support his struggling family. Lured by a reclusive millionaire and adult industry producer to give a final performance steeped in “life, blood and art”, unbeknownst to the realism required of the role. So begins one of the most gruelling descents into hell ever committed to film. An allegory for the horrors both reported and undocumented during the war in former Yugoslavia during the Milosevic government’s brutal reign of terror, A Serbian Film is a “metaphorical vortex,” according to its director “of ideas.” The simulated gratuity and “final reel of carnage” per Variety
will give horror fans much more than they can ever have bargained for. A challenging and unforgettable experience.
